A rather spicy sherried malt – probably a refill – with a great nose and a strong palate with enough richness to counter the spices. It benefits from adding water. Just the finish is over a bit too soon. – Rating: 85/100

At a higher botttling strength this unusual bourbon cask Bowmore could really excel. At 40% it can only be described as decent. What a pity. – Rating: 81/100

It is a shame that this fine whisky was watered down to 40%. It has a very intetesting character but the watery mouthfeel is just too dominant. – Rating: 83/100
