Classic old-time sherry here, gorgeous nose, strong attack on the palate, then getting a little timid before growing again to a strong finish. – Rating: 85/100

Light and gentle but yet pretty complex. You need to give this dram some time, but it turns out to be very enjoyable. The high age of this malt as well as the Islay provenance are not really noticaeable. – Rating: 84/100

Very complex and concentrated, the lightly peated sherry fruitiness reminds me a bit of Bowmore. Wood tannins are surely there after 35 years, but not overwhelmingly strong. – Score: 88/100
