The pleasantly fruity sherry aromas have a hard time fighting a multitude of wood spices. A whisky for oak lovers. – Rating: 83/100
Don’t be fooled by the light colour, this excellent grain whisky is very flavour-intensive but still has a light character. – Rating: 87/100
The finish overpowers the spirit quite a bit here. It still is a nice dram, but defnintely not worth the high price. – Rating: 83/100
An old-style malt with a nice combination of flavours, maybe just a little too sweet. – Rating: 85/100
It could be a geat whisky, but the adstringent wood tannins are much too strong for my taste. But you will love this dram, if you like that. – Rating: 80/100
The age doesn’t really show here, a nice and clean Glenlivet in the typical house style. – Rating: 84/100
This is a typical Glenlivet with all trademark flavour elements. The cask influence after 33 years is not disturbing, but just at the perfect level to make it a high class dram. – Rating: 90/100
