A very well-balanced malt that shows its age but has not lost its vitality. It is perfectly drinkable neat, but it also benefits from adding some water. This one is percfect for slow sipping on a relaxed evening. – Rating: 87/100

Even with water the nose is somewhat pungent but not unpleasant. Unlike the SMWS Port Dundas, the floral elements are not overwhelming the other flavour components. A well-balanced and nicely sippable single grain for a fair price. – Rating: 84/100

Sulphur is not always a welcome addition to a malt’s aroma, but for this whisky I think it works phenomenally well. It is interwoven with dozens of flavour notes and none really sticks out. There is so much going on in that extremely complex whisky. A true cracker of a dram! – Rating: 94/100

This is an extremely complex malt with aromas that seem to come and go in waves during time. Flavours are so concentrated that you could delay it 1:1 with neutral spirit, water it down to drinking strength and still have an excellent dram. – Score: 94/100
