Strong apple notes as well as the sweet and creamy overall character make this malt a typical Glenlivet. It is a very high quality whisky with a great richness of flavours. – Rating: 88/100

Despite the dark colour, the sherry is not overwhelming but of course very noticeable. The whisky lacks a bit of complexity but it is still very enjoyable. – Rating: 85/100

For a long time this was the cheapest 21 yo on the market, now replaced by an 18 yo. In comparison to the standard bottling, this is a drinkable whisky, but that’s about all you can say about it. – Score: 72/100
