With its thick and almost oily mouthfeel this malt is tongue-coatingly delicious. A slight woody dryness is the perfect counter balance. – Rating: 88/100

A great full-bodied malt with a floral hint that is just light enough not to be disturbing. The Lomond malt is a little unusual but very very tasty . – Rating: 88/100

A nicely balanced dram, the nose being fruitier than the palate. The bottling strength of 40% doesn’t serve it well, though. – Score: 84/100
