Crisp and clean with quite an amazing depth of flavours for such a young whisky. They know how to make good whisky on the Rhinns, and the bottlers know how to select good casks. – Rating: 87/100
This malt is very light in character and quite different from the Machir Bay. A good dram but it takes some effort to taste the flavours beyond the comparatively mild peat – Rating: 83/100
Once more Kilchoman has managed to issue a young whisky that is extremely enjoyable. The endless finish is its biggest asset as well as the affordable price. – Rating: 87/100
It’s still very immature but shows a lot of promise for the future. Too close to newmake to be fully enjoyable for me at this stage of maturation. – Score: 73/100
