It is hard to make out specific flavours in this whisky, but the sherry influence is noticeable. Not altogether unpleasant, but very indifferent indeed. – Rating: 67/100

41 years in a sherry hogshead were too much for this malt. Not unpleasant at all, but the whisky character is almost gone, it tastes more like a mixture of old rum and a herbal bitter. – Score: 84/100

Defined manily by its finish. Bottled a bit too young for my taste as it is a bit “scratchy”. But still not a bad dram. – Score: 78/100
