My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright amber
Nose: Pineapple, ripe banana, papaya, honey, polished wood, hints of clove and allspice.
Palate: All the fruits present on the nose along with raisins and toasted nuts, underlined with by a tiny bit of smoke and light wood spice.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly dry.
Overall: Old Tomatins are often very fruity and this is no exception, the subtle hint of smoke makes this excellent but expensive whisky even more interesting.
