Port Askaig 100 Proof

by Oliver Klimek on December 22, 2015

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Very pale straw
Nose: Strong smoke, bananas, pears, hints of cereal, vanilla, cloves and pepper.
Palate: Strong peat, banana, hints of tinned pineapple, vanilla, candied ginger, black pepper.
Finish: Long, sweet, fruity and smoky.
Overall: A solid young peat monster for those who like this type of whisky. It is pleasant enough without having remarkable properties.

Rating: 86/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
