Glen Grant 65 yo 1950/2015 G&M For Wealth Solutions

by Oliver Klimek on November 6, 2015

Cask 2747 – 59.3%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Fresh oranges, bananas, cherries, waxed leather, hints of marzipan, cardamom, hints of pepper.
Palate: Orange marmalade, sultanas, stewed plums, red-wine-soaked cake, cardamom, hints of cloves.
Finish: Long, fruity and spicy.
Overall: There is remarkably little wood influence for a whisky of this age. After some time to open up, there are a lot of fruity flavours to discover, the overall character is very delicate and refined.

Rating: 90/100 – Price Tag $$$$$$$$$– Value for your Money $$$$$
