Singleton of Dufftown “Sunray”

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Bright amber
Nose: Green apples, vanilla, hints of bubblegum and polished wood.
Palate: Yes, it’s whisky, very mild and generic with no flavours that are worth mentioning.
Finish: Medium long and quite mild.
Overall: While this is not an unpleasant whisky at all, the lack of distinctive flavours combined with a very watery mouthfeel makes tasting this a forgettable experience. 75 points still for being an easy sipper nonetheless.

Rating: 75/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$

Scored blind for the Malt Maniacs Awards 2014 where it won a bronze medal. Re-tasted for notes.
