Glenmorangie The Taghta

by Oliver Klimek on October 15, 2014

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Bright Gold
Nose: Savoury raisins, hints of honey, polished wood, hints of black pepper, rather weak overall.
Palate: Raisins, dried figs, mediterranean herbs, chestnut honey, allspice, fenugreek, hints of pepper.
Finish: Long, slightly fruity and midly spicy.
Overall: A most interesting whisky that is dominated by aromatic spices. Fruity aromas are present but remain in the background. Nice but not an easy-going sipper.

Rating: 86/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
