Cutty Sark Prohibition Edition

by Oliver Klimek on September 24, 2014

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Bright amber
Nose: Slightly spirity, polished wood, vanilla, toasted bread and nuts, mild citrus fruit, hints of camphor and pepper.
Palate: Toast with honey, vanilla, hints of apples, butterscotch, cardamom and nutmeg.
Finish: Medium long,  sweet and spicy.
Overall: This beefed-up version of Cutty definitely is a big step up from the regular bottling. The sweet spiciness offers quite a few interesting flavours.

Rating: 82/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$

Awesome stuff straight up, but also goes great into a mixed drink.
