My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Polished wood, vanilla, hints of stewed apples, lemon zest, hints of camphor and rubber.
Palate: Honey, vanilla, banana, sweet melon, hints of apples, black pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and spicy.
Overall: Bourbon casks are rather unusual for this distillery, but this does not have to mean this whisky is more boring than your usual sherry cask Aberlour. A fine creamy malt with nice fruity flavours.
