My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark copper
Nose: Prunes, dried figs, black cherries, marzipan, coffee, cinnamon, hints of nutmeg.
Palate: Prunes in balsamic vinegar, strong tea, bitter chocolate, nutmeg and pepper, tannic.
Finish: Long, dry and spicy.
Overall: Strong sherry notes dominate this whisky. This monster is not for the faint of heart, it is bold and woody.
Rating: 84/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
