My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Stewed apples, banana skin, honey, vanilla, hints of nail polish remover, candied ginger and pepper.
Palate: Apple crumble with black pepper, vanilla, lemon zest, butterscotch, strong pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: The whisky has pleasant fruity aromas and a nice creamy mouthfeel, but the spiciness – pepper in particular – is overpowering.
Rating: 82/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
