Kinclaith 16 yo 1966 Gordon & MacPhail

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Bright amber
Nose: Tinned tangerines, pineapple, molten wax, candied lemon, hints of cinnamon and pepper.
Palate: Raisins, lavender soap, hints of mixed tropical fruit, vanilla, mild spices.
Finish: Long and soapy.
Overall: The nose is extremely pleasant and promises a wonderful palate, but the strong soapy flavours completely ruin the experience.

Rating: 62/100 – No price information as this is a collector’s bottle

If your readers are tempted, TWE has this whisky for a mere L1,200.
