Arran 10 yo – Revisited

by Oliver Klimek on April 21, 2014

I tried this expression almost 5 years ago and was not overly impressed. Let’s give it another try.

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Strong citrus notes with lemon and grapefruit, a hint of honey and stewed apples, vanilla, polished wood and pepper.
Palate: Honey-glazed apples, hints of banana and pineapple, lemon zest, vanilla, fresh ginger and crushed black pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and spicy.
Overall: Definitely an improvement over the older version. It has full flavours and a strong body, the spices are quite prominent, though. Needs a bit of water.

Rating: 85/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
