Tomatin Cù Bòcan

by Oliver Klimek on September 6, 2013

Lightly peated – 46%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Lemon, banana, light honey, a whiff of summer flowers on a meadow, hints of ginger and pepper.
Palate: Quite prominent peat, hints of mixed tropical fruit, vanilla, ginger, freshly ground pepper.
Finish: Long, smoky and spicy.
Overall: This is only peated at 15ppm but it feels stronger, especially with a few drops of water. There’s a bit of a trade-off with the trademark Tomatin tropical fruit, but it’s quite a nice dram overall.

Rating: 81/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
