First fill sherry butt 13 – 46%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Bright copper
Nose: Prunes, cherries, hints of tobacco and old leather, cocoa, hints of cardamom and nutmeg.
Palate: Prunes, orange zest, dark berries, tobacco, strong tea, hints of cardamom and pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and dry.
Overall: Wonderful aromas on the nose are paired with a robust palate. The wood flavours are well integrated with the sherry fruit.

Rating: 87/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$

Scored blind for the Malt Maniacs Awards 2012 where it won a silver medal, re-tasted for notes

Since you don’t make a mention of peat we can safely assume this is Bunnahabhain?

I don’t engage in speculations, but it is quite similar to the Bunna 18 😉
