Clynelish 1997 Wemyss “Fresh Fruit Sorbet”

by Oliver Klimek on May 12, 2013

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Pale straw
Nose: Gooseberries, pineapple, lemon, vanilla, hints of pepper.
Palate: Mixed fruit cocktail, but rather shy, vanilla, lemon zest, hint of walnuts and white pepper.
Finish: Medium long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: The nose is quite strong and matches the descriptor, the palate is much more sublte but not  unpleasant.

Rating: 84/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
