Hogshead 11045 – 60.1%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Pale straw
Nose: Wood smoke, liquorice, cereals, vanilla, hints of disinfectant, white pepper.
Palate: Strong peat, sugar, vanilla, breakfast cereals, hints of liquorice and pepper.
Finish: Long, sweet and smoky.
Overall: This uncommon heavily peated Bunnahabhain is also unusually sweet, in fact a bit too sweet for my taste.
Rating: 79/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
