Bourbon hogshead – 53.7%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark straw
Nose: White gummy bears wrapped in smoked ham, lemon, vanilla, oysters with seaweed.
Palate: Quite strong peat for a Bowmore, pineapple, lemon zest, vanilla, liquoruice, corn flakes, hints of smoked ham and pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and smoky.
Overall: A rather typical and Bow-moreish dram that is a bit on the peatier side. Especially the palate is quite complex.
Rating: 88/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
