Sherry butt 12899 – 60.1%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright copper
Nose: Raisins, dates, toffee, milk chocolate, hints of gunpowder, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate: Raisins, dried figs, orange zest, milk chocolate, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Finish: Long, sweet, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: There is a tiny amount of sulphur that enhances more than it disturbs. The profile is very much on sweet dried fruits.
Rating: 87/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
