ca. 1970s – 40%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright amber
Nose: Stewed apples, fresh lemon, candied pineapple, vanilla, treacle, hints of nutmeg.
Palate: Cane syrup, lemon zest, apples, sweet grapes, hints of nutmeg and creamcheese.
Finish: Long, fruity and sweet.
Overall: This old NAS blend puts just about everything in this category we have today to shame. Apparently there were mainly bourbon casks used. It is quite sweet but also fresh and fruity.
Rating: 83/100
