Tecker Sherry Cask Single Malt

by Oliver Klimek on March 2, 2013

From Gruel in Germany – 40%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Bright copper
Nose: Cassis over porridge, orange mamalade, hints of rubber and cocoa, mint, allspice and nutmeg.
Palate: Mixed berry dessert (Rote Grütze) with cream, tea, fudge on bed of cabbage.
Finish: Short, slightly dry and fruity.
Overall: The sherry cask certainly adds some pleasant flavours, but some slight vegetal notes are a bit detrimental.

Rating: 69/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
