My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Straw
Nose: Tar, vanilla, liquorice, seaweed, shortbread, hints of lemon, nutmeg.
Palate: ‘Dirty’ peat, cough syrup, molasses, vanilla, liquorice, lemon zest, nutmeg, cloves and hints if pepper.
Finish: Very long, smoky and sweetly medicinal.
Overall: There is an element of dirtiness in this whisky that adds a wickedly intriguing dimension. The spices in this are delightful.
Rating: 87/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
