American and French Oak – 40%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright amber
Nose: Caramel, hints of raisins, vanilla, cinnamon and candied ginger.
Palate: Caramel, raisins, somewhat musty.
Finish: Very short, sweet and slightly bitter.
Overall: The nose is quite pleasant, but palate and finish suffer greatly from lack of impact.
Rating: 65/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
