My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright amber
Nose: Stewed apples, honey, raisins, vanilla and some of that typical sweet shop aroma..
Palate: Stewed apples, mixed tropical fruits, honey, vanilla fudge, nutmeg, hints of pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: A nice dram it is for sure but nothing really breathtaking, and not a very typical ‘meaty’ Mortlach either.
