My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Banana, toasted almonds, vanilla, pepper, hints of wood polish.
Palate: Almost buorbon-like with vanilla, popcorn, orange zest, dark toffee, cardamom, nutmeg and pepper.
Finish: Long and spicy with sweet fruit.
Overall: The fresh oak cask gives this maize-based grain whisky a striking resemblance to bourbon. The delicious flavours are supported by strong wood spices
