My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark gold
Nose: Stewed apples, vanilla, honey, grapefruit, hints of nail polish remover, ginger and nutmeg.
Palate: Apples, candied pineapple, custard, honey, green tea, nutmeg and pepper as well as a small chili bite.
Finish: Long, fruity and spicy.
Overall: Strong wood spices join sweet fruit in this malt from a lesser known distillery. Very nice but sip with caution.
