Arran Machrie Moor Batch 2

by Oliver Klimek on February 1, 2013

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Straw
Nose: Smoked ham, vanilla, citrus, liquorice, hints of mature cheese, pepper.
Palate: Mild peat, vanilla, liquorice candy nails, lime, fudge, hints of pepper.
Finish: Rather long, smoky and slightly dry.
Overall: The profile is slightly unusual but not unpleasant, with less smoke on the palate than on the nose. Overall this dram is less ferocious than the packaging suggests.

Rating: 83/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
