My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Gold
Nose: Honey, vanilla, sweet apricots, banana, candied ginger, hints of pepper.
Palate: honey, peach, apricot, vanilla, creme brulee, hints of ginger and pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: Surprisingly mature for its young age, this is an excellent example how using an ancient barley variety not designed for high yield can shorten maturation time.
