My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Wood smoke, green apples, kiwi?, vanilla, liquorice, ginger and pepper.
Palate: Peat, hints of smoked ham, vanilla, hints of gummy bears, liquorice snails, candied ginger, white pepper.
Finish: Long, smoky and slightly fruity.
Overall: Despite the rather strong peat the underlying flavours are rather subtle, the nose has a nice freshness. This feels a bit younger than it actually is.
