My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright amber
Nose: Raisins, apples, vanilla, rubber, hints of struck matches and nutmeg.
Palate: Raisins, dried apple chips, breakfast cereals, light caramel, nutmeg and pepper.
Finish: Medium long, fruity and spicy.
Overall: Despite being 12 years old, this dram feels a bit immature to me, the taste profile is not unpleasant but rather generic.
Rating: 72/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
Scored blind for the Malt Maniacs Awards 2012 where it won a bronze medal, re-tasted for notes.
