My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Orange marmalade, stewed apples, toasted hazelnuts, polished wood, hints of nutmeg.
Palate: Orange zest, apples, raisins, hazelnuts, dark caramel, nutmeg and just the slightest hint of mature cheese.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly briny.
Overall: There is a slight brininess to this tasty dram that in conjunction with the orange aromas remotely reminds me of Springbank.
Rating: 83/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
