Benriach 17 yo Septendecim

by Oliver Klimek on December 23, 2012

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Straw
Nose: Phenols, farmyard whiffs, rubber wellies, vanilla, lemon zest and pepper.
Palate: Peat, vanilla, lemon zest, black pepper, later hints of cheese and a certain leafiness emerge.
Finish: Long, farmy and smoky.
Overall: The farmy character of this expression is not my cup of tea. Your mileage may vary.

Rating: 68/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
