My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Stewed apples, polished wood, hints of raisins, toffee, cinnamon, nutmeg anf hints of cloves.
Palate: Apple strudel with custard, creme caramel, nutmeg and hints of pepper and a touch of dry wood.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: Unusual apple aromas can be found in this sherried dram, a very fine whisky indeed, with just enough wood influence to be noticeable.
