My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Raisins, orange zest, caramel, polished wood, nutmeg and freshly ground pepper.
Palate: Sweet raisins, cherries, honey, toffee, hints of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish: Long, sweet and fruity.
Overall: The nose is quite spicy but on the palate it is surprisingly mild with sweet fruit taking the lead. A rich and satisfying dram.
