My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Raisins, dried apricots, figs, hints of soy sauce, orange zest, cardamom, hints of pepper.
Palate: Mixed dried fruit, orange marmalade, oxtail soup, toffee, cardamom, the pepper becomes stronger with water.
Finish: Very long, fruity and meaty.
Overall: Excellent! This is a monumental dram and a real treat for all who like that meaty and richly sherried style.
Rating: 89/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
