My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright copper
Nose: Burning tyres, smoked ham, liquorice, cloves, camphor, just hints of orange zest.
Palate: In your face peat, liquorice, hints of dried fruit, dark caramel, cough syrup, strong espresso, cloves, nutmeg.
Finish: Very long, smoky, medicinal and spicy.
Overall: An uncompromising, almost brutal phenolic attack on your tastebuds, but it is not simply a peat monster, it has complex layers of flavours.
Rating: 90/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$

To me, that actually sounds amazingly delicious. But then again, I love in-your-face smoky whiskies…
