My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Gold
Nose: Peat smoked gummi bears, vanilla, candied lemon zest, hints of toffee, allspice, black pepper.
Palate: Strong peat, Haribo allsorts, vanilla, ginger, green tea, nutmeg, pepper and a little chili.
Finish: Long and smoky, slightly fruity and spicy.
Overall: My oh my, a powerful dram that does not hold back its flavours. Expect no subtleties. This may be the oldest peat monster ever, dealing you a phenol punch as well as a wood bite.
