Colour: Pale straw
Nose: Slightly medicinal smoke, gummi bears, vanilla, lemon, ginger, hints of pepper.
Palate: Strong peat, tinned fruit cocktail, vanilla, custard, candied ginger and pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and smoky.
Overall: The ‘old’ Connemara has a distinctive sweet fruitiness not found in the NAS expressions Another unique dram from Cooley.
