My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Raisins, stewed apples, orange zest, dark caramel, polished wood, toasted nuts, nutmeg.
Palate: Sweet grapes, apple strudel, ripe melon, butterscotch, nutmeg, hints of black pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and spicy.
Overall: A surprisingly rich and powerful malt that can take a bit of water. My favourite of the younger Glenfiddichs.

It’s such a shame that Glenfiddich DE isn’t getting distributed in the U.S. anymore. It displays just how good their whisky can be and at a very reasonable price to boot. Thankfully I managed to grab a few bottles while it was on close-out.
