A re-creation of a classic blend – Read more about it at Whisky For Everyone – 40%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Pale straw
Nose: Breakfast muesli with yoghurt and grapfruit juice, vanilla, hints of pineapple and nuts, ginger and a bit of white pepper, some smoke is just about noticeable.
Palate: Quite in line with the nose, the muesli is served with a cup of Earl Gey tea.
Finish: Medium long, dry and slightly fruity.
Overall: The intriguing nose needs some time, and even at 40% ABV the palate benefits from a few drops of water. A nice crisp dram, though most components are quite young. The finish is over rather soon, unfortunately.
Rating: 78/100 – No price information as this whisky will not be for sale
Note: This whisky was filtered with egg whites, so it is not suitable for a vegan diet
