My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: A very rich typical bourbon nose with burnt sugar, vanilla, orange zest, some wood polish, cloves and cinnamon.
Palate: Butterscotch, vanilla, orange zest, dried apricots, cinnamon, hints of pepper and mint, the wood is well present but not disturbing.
Finish: Long, dry, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: The nose is massive, the palate a bit more subtle but far from bland and boring. Overall a surprisingly delicate but delicious bourbon.
