My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Raisins, leather, orange zest, cocoa, polished wood, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate: Raisins, prunes, orange zest, dark chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg and pepper.
Finish: Medium long, fruity and spicy.
Overall: This sherried dram is quite spicy with a strong and flavourful initial punch. But it is not overly complex, and the finish is surprisingly short.
Rating: 83/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
