My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark Mahogany
Nose: Mazipan, herbal liqueur, prunes, dates, cinnamon, cardamom.
Palate: Prunes, burnt sugar, dried figs, dark chocholate, espresso, mixed mild spices with a touch of herbs.
Finish: Very long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: The sherry influence on this malt is extreme, but it works very well. The wood is in the background here.
