My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright copper
Nose: Toasted nuts, honey, orange zest, dates, figs, cinnamon, hints of cardamom.
Palate: Very much like the nose but not quite as strong and underlined with a slight bitterness.
Finish: Rather long, fruity and dry.
Overall: This really could be a great whisky, but there is a bitter element on the palate that I found a bit unpleasant.

Ahh, nice to see things back to normal as we don’t quite agree again
I was 2 points more generous as I didn’t find the bitterness, but it was very mouth-coating with some very rich flavours for a Balvenie.
